Protect What's Good With Tetra Pak

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tetra Pak. All opinions are 100% mine.

April is Earth month. This year's campaign is all about ending plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is a huge deal with all the plastic bottles and other plastic items we use every day. A lot of the plastic containers end up in the oceans, destroying the sea life and vegetation.

A few years ago I worked with a team of environmentalists where we went out early in the morning and picked up trash at a beach in Malibu. I am not an early morning person. So you know this was important to me. We were out there for hours picking up bottles, cans, plastics and other trash that can harm our sea life. Because animals can get them confused thinking that its food, many sea animals get hurt or die from trying to consume plastic containers because they eat the plastic or get caught in them.  Also  I remember seeing a documentary in school when I was growing up showing turtles and other animals getting harmed by plastic. I will remember that for the rest of my life. It was devastating to see it as a young child.

I am so glad that Tetra Pak has a solution for the plastic pollution problem. Tetra Pak cartons are environmentally friendly, convenient, and better for my lifestyle and needs. Today I took my work outside. Where I am having a healthy lunch with no worries of destroying the environment. All I had to do was to shake it and drink. With no refrigeration needed until after opening. Tetra Pak cartons contain a variety different products that you use on a daily basis like boxed water, soups, and coffee.  Tetra Pak is a wonderful alternative to plastic bottles without losing the integrity quality, durability and the convenience of having a meal that I can just grab and go. It also helps the future of our planet. So when I have kids the environment they live in can be safe and free from things that destroy our earth.

I use Tetra Pak on the go. It fits perfectly in my purse.
I don't have to worry about it spilling in my purse because it has a screw top that keeps the contents intact. Tetra Pak cartons are made out of renewable materials for sustainable sourcing. They protect natural resources and reduce climate impact. After Tetra Pak Cartons have been recycled the cartons can be turned into tissue paper, paper products, and green building materials. So not only are you helping the planet you are possibly helping other people after your done using the cartons. That's really cool.

I live in Los Angeles and the tap water is horrible, I do not like to drink it. But with Tetra Pak paperboard packaging I can drink my water without feeling bad about using plastic bottles. I am so glad Tetra Pak believes in sustainability.
I'm able to sit by the pool with my water safely without using a glass container. I pledge to use Tetra Pak cartons to minimize the environmental impact.
